THE STRENGTH OF A PICTURE

Images of power, and force have a tendency to evoke underlying emotions. Sometimes positive, other times negative. Recently, I was traveling through one of the blogs (in my favorites section) and I noticed the blogger featured some breathtaking images that left me enthralled earlier this summer at CONNECTIONS by LE BOOK (a well-attended expo for editors and photographers). The paramount shots were taken by fashion photographer Marcqui Akins. Before I move forward, I thank his agent (also my chum) at “Seed” for bestowing Marqui’s portfolio. Besides the spot-on period fashion choices, notice the transformative moves Marqui implements to portray the model (Wendell Lissimore) as Muhammad Ali.

Pictures just can't radiate any stronger.
